Prepare the Operation Theatre before scheduled surgeries and procedures.
Ensure all surgical instruments, equipment, medicines, and supplies are available and properly sterilized.
Assist surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures.
Maintain strict aseptic and infection-control practices inside the OT.
Check and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and OT supplies.
Assist with patient preparation, positioning, shifting, and post-operative transfer.
Monitor and maintain proper documentation of surgical procedures.
Perform instrument, sponge, needle, and swab counts before, during, and after procedures.
Coordinate with surgeons, anesthetists, nurses, and other hospital departments.
Ensure proper handling and disposal of biomedical waste.
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in the Operation Theatre.
Monitor OT stock and inform the concerned department about shortages.
Assist during emergency and critical surgical procedures when required.
Follow hospital policies, nursing protocols, and patient-safety guidelines.
